At Woofpack Dog Training, we believe that the best training isn’t about creating a dog who simply follows commands.

Meet the Trainers
Kinsey
Kinsey grew up around her grandfather’s dog kennel where he bred, raised, and competed nationally in hunting field trials. Her grandfather co-founded the United States Complete Shooting Dog Association. Kinsey became a dog trainer in 2020, after dealing with reactivity issues with her own dog. After lots of research and a discouraging consultation with a trainer, Kinsey decided to take matters into her own hands and joined a training school where she studied to become a certified dog trainer. Kinsey graduated with distinction from training school in 2022 and has loved training ever since. In 2023, she earned her CPDT-KA certification from the CCPDT.
Katie
Education & Professional Experience
We’re committed to continuing education so we can provide thoughtful, effective training based on current knowledge of canine behavior and learning.
Our experience also includes working with dogs in a veterinary hospital environment, giving us experience with dogs in a variety of situations and with different needs.
We believe being a good dog trainer means never stopping learning. We continue to seek out education and opportunities to expand our collective knowledge so that we can better serve the dogs and people we work with.

Training Should Build Communication
Dogs don’t speak our language.
Training gives us a way to bridge that gap.
At Woofpack Dog Training, we can teach you how to understand how your dog learns, how to communicate clearly, and how to recognize what your dog is telling you.
Training Should Be Based on the Dog in Front of You
We believe training should create a relationship where your dog wants to engage with you.
This means we will work with you to find out what motivates your dog. This type of training allows us to reinforce behaviors we want while creating positive associations with learning.
Training Should Be Practical
A dog who performs perfectly in a quiet training environment isn’t necessarily prepared for real life.
We want to build skills that you can use at home, on walks, around distractions, and wherever life takes you and your dog.
Training Should Be a Team Effort
Your dog isn’t the only one learning.
You are, too.
The most effective training happens when owners understand the process and feel confident continuing it between lessons.
We Don’t Just Train Dogs
One of the most important things we want every Woofpack Dog Training client to understand is this:
You are your dog’s most important teacher.
We can demonstrate a behavior. We can show you a training technique. We can help you work through a challenge.
But you’re the person who lives with your dog.
